Retro to Refined Full Bathroom Remodel

This full bathroom renovation transformed an outdated bathroom into a modern, functional space designed to better accommodate the needs of the family’s growing boys.
The project began with a complete gut renovation, removing the existing finishes and opening the walls and ceiling so the bathroom could be properly rebuilt from the framing out. New framing was completed where required, along with upgraded soundproofing and fire-rated insulation, plumbing and electrical improvements, and preparation for the new finishes.
The new design replaced the dated pink tile and fixtures with a clean, contemporary look featuring large-format wall and floor tile, a contrasting black marble-look tub surround, recessed shower niche, modern rain shower with handheld fixture, new bathtub, toilet, vanity, lighting and bathroom accessories.
A custom-built radiator cover was also incorporated into the renovation, giving the existing heating system a cleaner appearance that complements the modern bathroom design.
The finished result is a completely refreshed bathroom with a more mature, modern aesthetic and durable finishes designed to serve the boys as they grow.
